POWERFULLY FLAVORED, HIGH QUALITY FOOD

Our menu features a wide variety of fresh steaks, chops and seafood along with our homemade Italian specialties. Our chefs make regular trips to the famous Rochester Public Market to handpick the freshest of specialty ingredients and herbs necessary to make wonderful homemade dishes. Daily specials designed for the season take advantage of the bounty of fresh produce, fish and meat products available to our culinary staff. These seasonal specials play a vital role in keeping our menu fresh and exciting.

HISTORY

Perlo’s was founded in October 2001 by Donna Perlo via the purchase of Giuseppi’s Italian Restaurant. Giuseppi’s Italian Restaurant, founded some thirteen years earlier, enjoyed a reputation for southern Italian cuisine and a rambunctious bar. Upon purchasing the restaurant, Donna Perlo accepted the challenge of mixing the old with the new by softening the image of the restaurant and offering a more family-friendly atmosphere while always providing a welcoming environment.

Many changes have occurred over the years including a complete renovation of the interior and exterior of the building, the addition of an outdoor patio complete with full food and beverage service.

Several special occasion festivities have been added such as our now-famous Easter Sunday and Mother’s Day Brunch, Thanksgiving Day Dinner, Christmas Eve Dinner, New Year’s Eve Bash and romantic dinner packages for Valentine’s Day. All changes have been and will continue to be made with a special sensitivity to our guest’s expectation of an easy going neighborhood restaurant.

Perlo’s offers a fun and socially interactive atmosphere where everyone knows your name. Classics by Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Tony Bennett play in the background. Our goal is to make the the restaurant entertaining and fun for you, our guest.
